In the early-1900s colonials on the streets near Palisade Avenue, a mirror is often the easiest change available in a bath: no tile touched, no fixtures moved, and the room reads brighter and larger as soon as the glass is up. Swapping the plain plate mirror clipped over a vanity for one cut to the wall with a finished edge is a small job with an outsized effect. Those large plate mirrors are usually glued and clipped straight to the wall, so we take the old one down carefully, deal with the adhesive left behind, then cut and install a new piece sized the way you want it with a polished or beveled edge.
