An enclosure is more than a door. It is a set of panels that has to turn a corner, clear a bench and land on a curb that may not be level. We design, fabricate and install the whole thing for Midland Park baths, right from our own shop, and the free in-home measure comes first.

There is no honest flat number, because an enclosure is priced by its parts: how thick the glass is, how many panels the layout needs, the size of each one, the hardware finish and whether you go with low-iron ultra-clear glass. Three steps. The free in-home measure comes first, and we template the opening while we are there. Fabrication in our Lodi shop typically runs about one to two weeks. Install is usually a single visit, and even a multi-panel enclosure normally wraps up in one. We give you the timeline at the measure and keep you posted from the shop.
Odd shapes are exactly why we template by hand. Corners that are out of square, a curb that runs downhill, a bench eating into the opening, a window in the wet wall: all of it gets measured and drawn before anything is cut. The glass is then made for that one opening and no other. Older homes throw these curveballs constantly, and they are all workable in glass.
Both work, and the room usually decides. A walk-in screen is a single fixed panel with an open entry: no hinges, nothing swinging into a tight vanity, easy to step through. It does let more air in, so it wants a longer shower or a well-placed head. A door with a fixed panel beside it holds the heat better. We will walk both options at the measure.
Often yes. We can run panels tall and add a fixed transom above the door if you want the wall-of-glass look, as long as the framing and the ceiling line will take it. Older homes sometimes have a ceiling that dips across the room, which we pick up during templating and then cut the glass to follow. If it will not work cleanly, we will tell you that instead.
