Custom Glass Shower Enclosures in Ridgewood, NJ

A full enclosure is a geometry problem before it is a glass order. Corner and neo-angle units, an inline door and panel, three-panel runs, walk-in screens: each piece is templated to the opening you actually have, then fabricated in our own shop and set in one visit. The measure is free.

Corners, neo-angles and everything in between

Most enclosures land in one of a few layouts. A corner unit turns ninety degrees with two walls of glass. A neo-angle cuts the corner on a diagonal and has five edges to keep true. An inline door and panel fills one long opening. A three-panel run wraps a bench or a bump-out, and a walk-in is a single fixed screen with no door at all. The footprint decides which one you get.

After that, it comes down to numbers. We check each wall for plumb, measure the curb for slope, work out where the door can swing without catching the vanity or the toilet, and decide which panels carry hinges and which stay fixed. Heavy 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch glass needs real anchoring, so we also establish what sits behind the tile before anything gets drilled.

  • Corner, neo-angle, inline, three-panel and walk-in layouts
  • Every panel templated to the opening, never a stock size
  • 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch heavy tempered safety glass
  • Hinge, header and anchor points planned before we drill
  • Fabricated in our own shop, installed by our own crew

Knee walls, dormers and the chimney chase

Bathrooms in the village were rarely designed around a shower. They were carved out of whatever space was left, so you end up with a knee wall under a sloped dormer ceiling, a chimney chase eating one corner, a radiator that cannot move and a window sitting exactly where a panel wants to go. None of that is standard, which is why a whole enclosure gets templated piece by piece instead of ordered from a list.

Attic and third-floor baths add a second wrinkle. The ceiling slopes, so a fixed panel may need a raked top edge cut to the pitch rather than a square one, while the door stays a normal rectangle under the high side. Settled framing means the two jambs of an opening are often different heights too. We build to those real numbers, notch around what cannot move, and set hardware in the finish you choose.

  • Panels cut around knee walls, dormers and chimney chases
  • Raked top edges for sloped attic and third-floor ceilings
  • Openings measured where settled framing runs out of square
  • 15 hardware finishes to suit older fixtures and trim

Frequently asked questions

Our closest one is the Midland Park showroom at 108 Greenwood Ave, Midland Park NJ 07432, about a five minute drive from the village. It runs by appointment, so call or text (201) 507-5918 and we will set a time. If you would rather use regular hours, our main Lodi showroom at 80 Industrial Rd is open Monday through Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 4, roughly twenty minutes out, at (201) 460-1313.

There is no honest number until we see the space. Pricing moves with glass thickness, the total glass in the layout, whether you want low-iron ultra-clear glass, the hardware finish and how many panels the footprint demands. A five-sided neo-angle is not the same job as a door and panel. You get a firm itemized quote after a free measure, and monthly payment options are available.

Figure roughly one to two weeks of fabrication after we template, then an install that is usually done in a single visit. A multi-panel layout takes about the same shop time as a simple door, there are just more pieces. If the bathroom is still being tiled, we measure after the tile is up, because the finished surface is what the glass has to fit.

Yes. A fixed panel can be cut with a raked top edge that follows the roof pitch, so the glass meets the slope cleanly instead of leaving an open wedge above it. We take the angle off the actual ceiling at the measure rather than assuming a standard rake. The door underneath stays a normal rectangle on the high side, so headroom and swing still work the way you expect.

Usually. A cast iron radiator and a chimney chase are not moving, so the glass works around them. We can notch a panel, shorten a run, or shift the layout to a neo-angle so the door opens into free floor instead of into an obstruction. What we will not do is force a stock size into an opening that does not want one. The measure is where we work out which move the room needs.

Sometimes. Tall openings and long panel runs need support so the glass stays stable and the door still closes the same way years from now. That might be a slim header bar across the top, a corner brace, or hardware placed so the fixed panels carry the load. We tell you at the measure which one your layout calls for, and any bracing comes in the same finish as the rest of the hardware.
