A shower enclosure is more than a door. It is a set of panels that has to solve the shape of your bathroom. We template corner, neo-angle, inline and walk-in layouts to the opening you actually have, and we cut the glass in our own shop right here in town. The measure is free.
Every enclosure starts as a shape problem. A corner unit needs two panels meeting at a clean vertical seam. A neo-angle takes five points off the floor plan and a door that swings without hitting the vanity. An inline door-and-panel has to split a wide opening so the door still clears. We work the layout out on site, mark the swing, check the curb and the ceiling, then template each piece to the opening.
Once the layout is set, the build is straightforward. Panels come out of 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch heavy tempered safety glass, joined with finish-matched clips, hinges and a header only where the span needs one. You can go low-iron if you want the green edge tint gone, add the protective easy-clean coating, and match hardware across 15 finishes. Fabrication runs a week or two after the measure, and the install is usually one visit.
Lodi is dense and built out. The housing runs to capes, colonials and two-family homes on compact lots, a lot of it mid-century or older, and the bathrooms were sized to match. You often get a stall in a corner with a window on one wall and a radiator on another, or a wide opening that would swallow a single door. Those are the rooms where a stock kit fails and a templated enclosure earns its keep.
The other Lodi reality is that walls in these houses are rarely plumb. A room framed decades ago has settled, and tile set over it can lean a quarter inch top to bottom without anyone noticing until glass goes up against it. We measure the room as it sits today and cut to that. Since the shop is here in town on Industrial Rd, a re-check or an adjustment is a short trip, not a scheduling problem.

There is no single price, because an enclosure is priced by what it takes to build yours. The number moves with glass thickness, the size and number of panels, the glass type you pick, standard clear or low-iron, and the hardware finish. A three-panel walk-in and a small corner unit are different jobs. We give you a firm, itemized quote after a free measure, and monthly payment options are available.
Plan on about one to two weeks from measure to install for most jobs. The measure itself takes under an hour. After that your panels are cut, edged and prepped in our Lodi shop, which is where the time goes. Install is normally a single visit. If a contractor is still tiling, we template after the tile is set and final, so tell us where the room stands.
That is most of what we do. Neo-angle corners, walls that step, a window inside the wet area, a curb that is not level, a sloped ceiling under a staircase, all of it is workable once we see it. At the measure we lay out the panels and the door swing on the actual room, then build to that plan. The awkward footprints are the ones where custom glass looks the best.
Sometimes, and it depends on the span and the door weight. A tall door on a wide opening needs something to keep the panels from flexing, which is usually a slim finish-matched support bar or a header at the top. Plenty of enclosures need neither. We work that out at the measure and tell you before we build, so nothing shows up on install day that you did not expect.
Call early, then let us measure late. Talking before the tile goes in helps, since curb height, niche placement and where the valve lands all affect the glass. But the real template has to happen after the tile is set and the room is finished, or the numbers move. We are based in Lodi, so getting us in on short notice at the end of a renovation is usually easy.
