Check Your AreaClear glass with as little metal as the layout allows. Replacing a curtain or a frosted framed door with clear tempered glass lets the vanity light reach the back of the shower, and low-iron glass removes the faint green of standard clear. Where a swing would crowd the toilet, a slider keeps the room usable; where there is floor to spare, a frameless door keeps the hardware to hinges and a handle.
Not necessarily: each room can take the style its walls and layout suit, with one hardware finish tying them together if you like. A hall bath with a tub often gets a slider or a semi-frameless door, while a remodeled primary bath may take frameless glass. Matching each door's finish to the faucet beside it matters more than matching styles. Both rooms can be measured on the same free visit and quoted line by line.
No: the glass is the last piece of a steam shower, not the whole of it. Steam needs a generator, a sealed ceiling and walls built for moisture, and that part belongs to your contractor and plumber. Once their work is finished, we measure and build an enclosure sealed with a transom panel at the top, with seals along the door, so the steam stays in.
Usually a slim channel where the glass meets each wall, sometimes a rail across the top, plus the hinges and handle; the edges of the door itself stay bare. That is more metal than frameless glass, which is held by hinges and clamps, and much less than a framed door with metal around every edge. The channels come in finishes such as brushed nickel, matte black and polished chrome.
Yes: custom mirrors go well past the vanity. A dressing-area wall, a closet wall or an entry can be measured on the same free in-home visit, and each mirror is cut and edged in our Lodi shop to the numbers taken there. For an entry or dining room, the antique mirror line gives an aged, softer reflection instead of a clear one.
