The real limits in a tight bath are clearances: the swing of a door, the space in front of the toilet and the reach to the vanity. We check all three at the free in-home measure and suggest a layout that respects them.
Often, yes. The fixed glass can be cut on an angle so its top follows the slope down toward the knee wall, and the door goes on the side with full headroom so it opens without striking the ceiling. We record the ceiling angle and every height that matters at the measure, and the panels are cut from those numbers in our Lodi shop. Mention the slope when you book so we plan for it.
It depends on what sits in front of the shower. A sliding door moves along its rail and needs no floor space, so it suits a room where the toilet or vanity is close. A hinged door gives a wider, cleaner entry but needs clear floor to swing. We check the swing path at the measure, and if a hinged door would strike something, sliding glass is the practical choice.

Sliding and hinged tub doors both work; the room decides. A sliding tub door runs its panels past each other within the tub's length, so nothing swings into the room, which suits a tight bath. A hinged tub door opens wider for bathing and cleaning but needs clear floor in front of the tub to swing. Either way, the panels are cut in our Lodi shop to your tub's actual length and wall heights, and the finished glass is tempered for safety.
