No, and it is worth knowing why so nobody wastes a weekend on it. That haze sits inside a sealed insulated unit, where two panes are joined around a spacer. When the seal fails, moisture gets between them and deposits on surfaces nothing can reach. Cleaning the outside will not touch it. The fix is a new unit in the same opening. We measure the opening and the frame, confirm the glass makeup, quote the replacement, and leave the rest of the storefront alone.
Usually yes, and it is the cheapest way through it. We measure the opening in the door, check how the glass is held, whether that is a stop, a gasket or a wet glaze, and cut the replacement to it. While the door is apart it is a good moment to look at the closer and the hinges, because a door slammed hard enough to crack glass has usually taken it out on the hardware as well. If something is worn we will tell you and price it separately.
It depends on the piece, and you will get a straight answer once we have measured. An ordinary size in a common makeup moves through the shop quickly. Something oversized, laminated, tempered to a special shape or in an unusual thickness takes longer, and no amount of pushing changes that. Board-up is there so you are not waiting on glass to keep your doors open. What we will not do is name a turnaround before we know what we are making.

After the on-site measure you get the scope written out with the pieces listed: the glass and its makeup, the framing or hardware involved, board-up if it applies, and the install itself. What moves that number is the size of the opening, the glass type and thickness, whether framing has to be replaced, how access works, and whether the work happens inside or outside your business hours. You approve it, then we order.
That is the right thing to ask before anything is ordered, because a single new lite in a run of older ones can stand out badly. Glass carries a tint from the batch it was made in, and a sealed unit that has sat in the sun for twenty years does not read the same as one built last month. At the measure we record the makeup of what is in there now, the thickness, whether it is a single lite or a sealed unit, and any coating on the surface, then match it as closely as what is made today allows. Where an exact match is not going to happen we say so first, and sometimes the honest answer is doing two openings instead of one.
