Yes, a 60-inch alcove can take frameless glass, typically as a hinged door beside a fixed panel. Whether that suits your bath depends on where the valve sits, how far the door can swing before it meets the toilet or vanity, and how plumb the walls are; if a swing does not fit, a sliding door is the alternative. The measure settles how the width splits between door and panel.
Brushed nickel, polished chrome, oil-rubbed bronze and matte black are among the finishes we offer, and you can compare them at our Midland Park showroom by appointment. Matching the glass hardware to the faucet and shower trim already in the room keeps an older bath consistent when you are keeping its fixtures. Bring a photo of that trim, or of new trim you have picked, and hold it up against the samples.
Semi-frameless glass keeps some metal framing, usually along the walls or overhead, while the door itself has no full frame. It sits between framed and frameless in look, and the metal along the walls can cover small irregularities in an older opening. It makes sense when you want a lighter look than a framed door and your walls are not quite straight. The measure will show how far they lean.
