Recent glass projects in Saddle Brook, NJ

A short tour of recent custom-glass installs in Saddle Brook — shower enclosures, mirrors, railings, painted glass and commercial work — drawn from the past year of our local calendar.

Quick answer: This post walks through recent mid-century single-family remodels, two-family bath upgrades, and a handful of standout mirror jobs we've installed in Saddle Brook over the past year. Every project below is one our own crew templated, fabricated and installed from our Lodi showroom about 5 minutes away — no subcontractors, no handoffs. For pricing or general services, our Saddle Brook service-area page is the right starting point.

At a glance — Saddle Brook glass work

Saddle Brook borders Lodi — when we say five minutes, we mean five minutes. Same-week measure scheduling is the norm here, and a real share of our Saddle Brook installs go from first call to glass on the wall inside two weeks.

  • Service area: 07663 — Mayhill, the neighborhoods along Saddle River County Park, and the streets between Market and Saddle River Road
  • Nearest showroom: Lodi — about 5 minutes from Saddle Brook
  • Most-requested categories: frameless shower doors, custom mirrors, glass railings, back-painted glass
  • Typical turnaround: two to three weeks from approved quote to install

Shower-door highlights

Saddle Brook's mid-century housing stock is the bread-and-butter of our central-Bergen calendar. Original 1960s and 1970s framed sliders are at the end of their life, and the homeowners replacing them are choosing frameless almost universally.

Frameless inline door in a Mayhill split

A primary bath in a Mayhill-section split-level from the late 1960s had a 1990s framed slider that had pitted at the bottom rail. We pulled the old frame, repaired the small substrate area underneath, and installed a 3/8″ clear frameless inline door with a fixed return panel, matte-black hinges and pull. Two-week turnaround. The homeowner texted Jessica a thank-you photo two months later.

Bypass slider in a postwar single off Saddle River Road

A postwar single off Saddle River Road had a 60-inch tub-shower with no clearance for a swinging door. We installed a frameless bypass slider in 3/8″ clear glass on a polished-chrome top track. The bypass is the workhorse Saddle Brook product — every other house on these streets has the same geometry.

Two-family primary upgrade

A two-family in Saddle Brook's older blocks upgraded the upstairs primary bath as part of a refresh between tenants. We installed a frameless inline door in 3/8″ low-iron glass with polished-chrome hardware. Two-family upgrades are a real share of our Saddle Brook pipeline — they get the unit re-rented faster, with cleaner photos, and the glass holds up across tenant cycles.

Mirror highlights

Mirror work in Saddle Brook is mostly bath-and-vanity scale, with a steady share of entry and hallway pieces.

Single polished-edge primary vanity mirror

A primary bath remodel near Saddle River County Park ran a 60-inch by 40-inch polished-edge mirror over a single-sink vanity, anchored above the new wall sconces. Continuous, no frame, no bevel — the cleanest single-mirror look at a reasonable size.

Two matching mirrors over a double sink

A primary bath in a Mayhill colonial wanted two matching 28″ by 36″ polished-edge mirrors, anchored above each sink individually rather than as one continuous run. Both mirrors delivered and set in a single trip; install was under an hour.

Other glass work

Beyond the residential pipeline, a few commercial pieces and the occasional tabletop or backsplash round out the work in Saddle Brook.

Restaurant glass partition

A new restaurant off Market Street wanted a head-height glass partition separating the bar from the main dining room. Slim metal channel, painted glass on the lower half for privacy at the bar stools, clear glass above for sightline. Delivered and installed before opening.

Back-painted glass kitchen backsplash

A renovated kitchen in a Mayhill colonial ran a single 6-foot panel of back-painted glass in soft warm white behind the range. No grout, no caulk lines, no scrubbing tile. Templated, cut, and installed in a single afternoon.

Why Saddle Brook chooses AGM

Forty-plus years of doing this from our two showrooms means we've already templated, fabricated and installed in nearly every Saddle Brook block. The Lodi showroom is 5 minutes from your house — close enough that your measure is usually scheduled the same week you call. A few specific reasons we hear from Saddle Brook customers:

  • Templating, not measuring. Older Saddle Brook homes have walls that aren't perfectly square. We template the exact opening on site after the tile is set, so the glass fits the wall as it actually is.
  • One crew, start to finish. The person who templates your bath is the same shop that cuts the glass and the same crew that installs it. No subcontractors, no handoffs.
  • Hydrophobic coating done right. Hard-water NJ etches uncoated glass within one to three years. Our factory-applied hydrophobic coating is multi-year, not the weeks-long retail spray.

Start your project

Two to three weeks from approved quote to glass on the wall is the standard timeline: a free in-home measure within days of your first call, one to two weeks of fabrication, then a single-visit install. Mention Saddle Brook when you reach out and we'll route it to the right showroom.
