Quick answer: Over the past several years, AGM has installed custom shower doors, mirrors, glass railings and back-painted glass throughout Wyckoff, NJ. Below is a tour of recent project highlights — what we built, where, what glass and hardware we chose, and how to start your own project. From our Midland Park showroom on Greenwood Avenue, we're about 7 minutes from Wyckoff.
Wyckoff at a Glance for Glass Projects
Wyckoff is a township of larger lots and bigger homes than its Midland Park or Waldwick neighbors — spacious mid-century colonials, Tudors, and a meaningful contingent of 1990s-and-newer custom builds along Russell Avenue, Wyckoff Avenue and the wooded streets that climb toward the Franklin Lakes border. Bathrooms tend to be bigger here, which means more interesting frameless layouts — multi-panel enclosures, return panels, and the occasional steam shower.
The most common glass jobs in Wyckoff are larger frameless enclosures in primary baths (often a fixed inline panel plus a return), curbless walk-ins in new construction or major renovations, and oversized custom mirrors in primary suites and gym rooms. Wyckoff has a higher-than-average concentration of home gyms, which means we install a lot of full-wall gym mirrors here. Our Midland Park showroom is about 7 minutes from Wyckoff via Franklin Avenue. Because the drive is short, we routinely make in-home measure visits and project follow-ups within the same week.
Recent Shower-Door Highlights in Wyckoff
Frameless shower enclosures are still our most-requested service in Wyckoff. Here are three recent installs that illustrate the range — from compact frame-to-frameless replacements to larger architectural enclosures. Project locations are described by general area, not exact addresses.
L-Shaped Walk-In on Russell Avenue
A renovated 1980s colonial off Russell Avenue had a primary-bath redesign that turned a small tub-shower combo into a 5' x 4' L-shaped walk-in. We fabricated the enclosure as a fixed inline panel plus a 90-degree return, joined with a structural notched mitre — no vertical channel. Glass is 1/2" clear; hardware is brushed nickel. The return panel reads as a single continuous run of glass because the mitre joint has zero hardware.
Steam Enclosure in a Tudor Master Suite
A 1990s Tudor on a wooded lot off Wyckoff Avenue called for a true steam shower in a primary-suite gut renovation. The enclosure is a full sealed 1/2" clear glass box with a transom at the top, drip rail above the door, and matte black hardware to complement the home's existing dark trim. The interior is 5'6" x 4'8" — big enough for a built-in bench and two showerheads.
Frameless Inline on Lawlins Road
A center-hall colonial off Lawlins Road had a powder-bath-to-full-bath conversion in a renovated guest suite. Tight footprint — only 36" across the shower opening — so we built a simple frameless inline panel with a tall pivot door in 3/8" clear glass. Polished chrome hardware to match the original 1960s plumbing fixtures the owners restored.

Custom mirrors are our second most-requested category in Wyckoff — vanity mirrors, wall-to-wall mirrors in primary suites, and full-wall mirrors in home gyms and dressing rooms. Each is cut from a single sheet (or matched multiple sheets for very large walls) and finished with polished or beveled edges.
Full-Wall Gym Mirror on Sicomac Avenue
A home-gym conversion in a finished basement off Sicomac Avenue called for a single wall-to-wall mirror, 8'4" tall by 14' wide. We delivered it as three perfectly aligned full-height panels, hairline butt-joints, bottom Z-clip mounted on a kicker, and a 1/4" standard glass spec. Reads as one piece. Now used daily for weight training.
Primary-Suite Mirror Wall with Sconce Cutouts
A primary-suite renovation in a 2000s custom home near the Franklin Lakes border needed a long mirror behind a custom-built vanity with two sconces wall-mounted directly into the mirror plane. We cut the wall-to-wall mirror with two precise sconce notches, polished edges, and installed it before the electrician completed the sconce wiring. Hidden Z-clip mount.

Other Glass Work in Wyckoff
On the railing side, we installed an exterior glass deck railing on a wooded-lot home off Lawlins Road last spring — 1/2" tempered panels in powder-coated bronze posts, code-compliant for the 38" deck height. We've also fabricated back-painted glass backsplashes in several Wyckoff kitchen renovations; the wider wall expanses in Wyckoff kitchens make seamless painted-glass panels especially effective compared to tile.

Why Wyckoff Homeowners Choose AGM
Three reasons most Wyckoff projects end up with us: proximity (our Midland Park showroom is about 7 minutes away, which means fast measures and easy follow-up visits), 40+ years of local installations (we've seen every kind of older Bergen County bathroom and we know how to template around plaster walls, out-of-square framing and original tile), and in-house fabrication (we cut and finish glass in our own shop, install with our own crew, and never subcontract). Free in-home measures are standard for every Wyckoff project, with no obligation. Most quotes are returned within one business day of the measure.
