The new shower is a curbless walk-in with a fixed inline panel and a single pivot door, all in 1/2-inch ultra-clear (low-iron) glass so the new herringbone Calacatta tile inside reads true white instead of green-tinted. Hardware: polished nickel to echo the home's original 1920s feel rather than fighting it with chrome. We templated carefully — the room is on the second floor of a near-100-year-old build and the wall ran out of plumb by about 3/8 inch over the door height, so the panel was cut to compensate.
Frameless Inline in a Tudor on Prospect Avenue
A 1933 Tudor near Prospect Avenue had a renovated guest bath where the homeowner wanted a frameless enclosure but had to keep the original cast-iron tub. We delivered a single 3/8-inch inline panel set on top of the tub with a heavy stationary clamp and brushed-brass hardware. The panel matches the home's warm brass cabinet pulls and reads as a quiet, period-appropriate update rather than a modernist intervention. Ten days measure to install.
Steam Enclosure in a Newer Build on Soldier Hill Road
A 2018 custom build on Soldier Hill Road called for a full steam enclosure in the primary suite — sealed top panel, transom on a magnetic latch, and proper drip rail throughout. Built in 1/2-inch clear with matte-black hardware, the package took two weeks in fabrication and a half-day to install. Steam enclosures live or die on the transom detail and the gasket runs; we run heavy gaskets at every joint and a service-accessible transom so the generator can be reached without dismantling the door.

We delivered it as three perfectly aligned panels with hairline butt-joints, polished edges all around, and bottom Z-clip support hidden behind built-in shoe drawers. From across the room it reads as one continuous piece.
Notched Beveled Vanity Mirror, Tudor Powder Room
A powder room in a 1929 Tudor had a vanity that bumped directly into an original window casing. The homeowner wanted a large beveled mirror but didn't want to stop it short of the trim — so we cut a custom corner notch around the casing and finished the entire perimeter with a 1-inch polished bevel. The result looks like it was specified for that exact wall in 1929.
