When a bathroom has no room for a door to swing, two panels that bypass on a slim top track solve it. Same heavy glass, same finish options, none of the clearance problem. We fabricate in Lodi and install with our own crew, and the measure that starts it costs nothing.

A bypass enclosure runs two glass panels past each other on a slim header track, so the opening is always where you need it and nothing swings into the room. Modern rollers ride quiet and glide with one finger, a long way from the rattling aluminum sliders in a lot of older bathrooms. We build these in 3/8-inch tempered safety glass, and the track and rollers come in the same 15 finishes as the rest of our hardware.
Sliders also stretch to cover wide openings a single hinged door simply cannot. A standard 60-inch tub alcove is the classic case: one swinging panel would be enormous and awkward, while two bypassing panels handle the span easily. We measure the alcove at your house, fabricate to those numbers in our Lodi shop and set the track level even when the tub deck underneath is not. Install is usually one visit.

Cape cods and split-levels around Midland Park were not drawn with big bathrooms in mind. The hall bath is often a compact rectangle with the vanity, the toilet and the tub all inside a few feet of each other, and a hinged glass door needs a clear arc it just does not have. Bypass panels need none. The glass stays inside its own footprint and the floor space stays yours.
The other common case here is the tub that stays. Plenty of these houses have an original alcove tub in good shape and no interest in tearing it out, and a bypass enclosure closes it in properly without touching the tile or the plumbing. Send over a photo and a rough width and we will tell you straight whether sliding or hinged is the better call for your room.

Yes, and we would rather you did. Our showroom sits at 108 Greenwood Ave, Midland Park, NJ 07432, so you can slide a panel yourself and feel how the rollers move. It works by appointment, so ring (201) 507-5918 first and we will hold a time for you. Two minutes with your hand on the glass tells you more than any brochure ever will.
We quote after we measure, never before. The number depends on the width of the opening, the glass thickness, which hardware finish you pick for the track and rollers, and whether you add low-iron glass or the easy-clean coating. Once we have templated the opening you get a itemized number in writing, and monthly payment options are available if you would rather spread it out.
The measure is usually the quick part, often within a few days of you reaching out. From there your panels and track are fabricated in our own Lodi shop, which typically takes one to two weeks. The install itself is generally a single visit. So the whole thing tends to wrap inside two to three weeks from first call to finish.
Often, yes. A hinged door needs somewhere to open into, and in a tight room that arc lands on the vanity, the toilet or your own feet. Bypass panels stay inside the opening, so nothing has to move out of the way. The trade-off is a slim top track and a fixed overlap where the panels pass, which most people stop noticing fast.
Modern bypass hardware is nothing like the old aluminum channel that trapped everything. The header track is slim, the bottom guide is minimal and the surfaces wipe down in seconds. Add the protective easy-clean coating on the glass and water beads off instead of drying into spots. We will show you exactly what your track looks like before you commit to it.
That is one of the most common jobs we do. As long as the tub and surrounding tile are sound, we template the alcove, build the panels to that width and hang the track level even if the walls or tub deck have shifted over the years. No tile comes off and no plumbing is touched. You keep the tub and gain a real glass enclosure.
