A mirror that fits is a different object from one you buy in a box. We measure the wall, account for outlets, switches, trim and the fact that almost no ceiling is level, then cut the glass to those figures. Edges get finished the way you want them: a clean polished edge for a modern look, or a beveled edge that catches light along the border and suits older trim.
Installation is where big mirrors go wrong. A wall mirror or a gym run is heavy, and it has to be anchored into something real, held flat so the reflection doesn't distort, and set with the right clearance top and bottom. Our own crew does that, which means the people who cut it are the people who hang it. Nothing gets handed off to a subcontractor at the last step.

It depends on the size, the thickness of the glass, the edge treatment you pick and how the install has to be handled, so a number quoted sight unseen would be fiction. We measure first, then give you a firm itemized quote with the glass, the edgework and the installation broken out. Measuring costs you nothing and commits you to nothing, and we can go over monthly payment options for larger pieces.
Plan on roughly 1 to 2 weeks between the measure and the install. Cutting is quick; the edgework, the cutouts for outlets or fixtures and the polishing are what take the time, and rushing those is how you end up with a chipped edge. The install itself is normally one visit. Larger mirror walls sometimes need a second set of hands, which we schedule in advance.
You can, and a single piece usually looks better because there's no seam interrupting the wall. The limits are practical ones: how big a panel we can carry into the room and up the stairs, and whether your wall is flat enough to take it without stress. We check both when we measure. If a single piece won't work, two panels with a tight seam is the next best answer.
It can, and it's mostly a matter of prep. Older walls in the borough are rarely dead flat, and mirror will show that as a slight wave if it's simply stuck on. We check the plane at the measure, then set the mirror so it sits flat, shimming where needed. If a wall is bad enough that it needs work first, we'll say so rather than hanging glass on a problem.
