Custom Glass Shower Enclosures Built for Fort Lee Baths

An enclosure is a puzzle before it is a product. Corner, neo-angle, inline door and panel, three panel, walk-in: we lay out the shape that fits your Fort Lee bathroom, then template every piece to the opening you actually have. Heavy tempered glass, cut in our own shop, installed by our own crew. Measuring is free.

Five Ways to Enclose a Shower, One That Fits Yours

A corner unit needs two panels meeting at ninety degrees. A neo-angle takes three, with the door hung on the cut corner. An inline run is a fixed panel with a door beside it. A walk-in is a single fixed panel and an open pass. Which one you get is decided by the pan, the plumbing wall and where the door can safely swing, not by a catalog.

Once the layout is set, the numbers matter. We template the real opening, corner to corner and top to bottom, because tile is rarely square and walls are rarely plumb. Every panel is then cut to those measurements in 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch tempered safety glass, with hinges, clips and a header bar if the span calls for one. Fabrication generally runs one to two weeks, and install is normally a single visit.

  • Corner, neo-angle, inline, three-panel and walk-in layouts
  • Every panel templated to the opening, not ordered from stock
  • 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch heavy tempered safety glass
  • Low-iron ultra-clear glass and easy-clean coating available
  • Hinges, clips and handles in 15 hardware finishes

Fort Lee Bathrooms

Awkward Corners Above the Palisades

Bathrooms in the ridge towers were laid out to the inch, so the shower usually lands in a corner, sometimes behind a knee wall, sometimes with a bench or a niche eating into one side. That is exactly where a stock kit quits. A neo-angle can pick up the cut corner, a walk-in panel can leave the wet end open where a swinging door has nowhere to go, and an inline panel can hold a straight run tight to the tile.

The other half of a tower job is the building. We are licensed and insured, and we can supply the certificates and paperwork your management office asks for before anyone touches a door. Access and elevator time get arranged with the building rather than assumed, and our crew protects the lobby, the elevator and your floor on the way in and out. For the single-family homes on the side streets, none of that applies and we simply set a date with you.

  • Neo-angle and corner layouts for tight tower footprints
  • Licensed and insured, with paperwork for building management
  • Elevator and access scheduled with your building
  • Panels sized to clear knee walls, benches and niches

Frequently asked questions

Not in Fort Lee itself. Our main showroom is at 80 Industrial Rd in Lodi, about a fifteen minute drive west, open Monday through Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 4. Call or text (201) 460-1313 first. Glass thickness, hardware finishes and layouts are all there to compare in person. We also keep a Midland Park showroom at 108 Greenwood Ave, by appointment, roughly thirty minutes out.

We do not quote enclosures sight unseen, and you should be careful with anyone who does. The price moves with glass thickness, the size and number of panels, the layout, whether you want low-iron ultra-clear glass, and which of the fifteen hardware finishes you pick. After a free measure you get a firm, itemized quote with nothing hidden in it. Monthly payment options are on the table as well.

Plan on about one to two weeks of fabrication after we template, then a single visit to install in most cases. The clock starts when the tile is finished and grouted, since we cannot template a wall that is still moving. In a tower, add whatever lead time your building wants for scheduling the elevator and access, which we sort out with management once your date is set.

Usually, yes. Angles are a template problem, not a dealbreaker. We measure the real geometry, including any slope, knee wall or out of square corner, and cut the panels to follow it. Neo-angle and custom multi-panel layouts exist for exactly this reason. What we need is a finished, tiled opening to measure against, and then the glass is built to that shape rather than forced into it.

Depends on the shower. A single fixed panel with an open entry works when the pan is long enough and the head is aimed away from the opening, which is common in a renovated primary bath. In a compact bath, a door keeps the heat and the spray in. We will tell you honestly at the measure which one your room can carry, and we build both.

We are a glass company, so we build, fabricate and install the enclosure and the hardware. The tile, the pan, the plumbing and any demolition belong to your contractor. That is the normal split, and it works cleanly: tell us who is running the job and we will set the template date with them so the glass lands right after the tile is done instead of weeks later.
