Woodcliff Lake is one of Bergen County's most exclusive boroughs, defined by its reservoir, spacious lots and elegant estates. Local housing skews toward a low-density borough of stately 19th-century homes and sprawling modern estates set on generous, private lots — many with manicured grounds and reservoir views, and estate-scale primary baths, oversized showers and view-preserving railings make up the bulk of our install calendar here. If your own project sounds like one of the case studies below, jump to the Woodcliff Lake service page or text Jessica from the contact section.

Shower-door highlights
Shower enclosures are our highest-volume category in Woodcliff Lake by a wide margin. The borough’s housing mix means most of the work is framed-to-frameless replacements in existing bathrooms rather than new construction — though we do both. A few recent installs that show the range:
Oversized frameless steam enclosure near the reservoir
A new-build estate on the east side of the reservoir was finishing a primary suite with a wet room as the centerpiece. The homeowners wanted a steam-rated enclosure sealed to the 10-foot ceiling, with two full-height fixed panels flanking a 36-inch door, all in 1/2-inch low-iron glass. We hand-templated to land the hinges in blocking we’d specified during framing, fabricated over twelve days, and installed in a single morning. Header bar and 24-inch pull in matte black; upgraded continuous gasket system at every joint. Nineteen days from approved quote to keys-back.
Frameless inline replacement in a West Hill colonial
A 1970s center-hall colonial in the West Hill section had a builder framed slider whose door seal had finally given up. We pulled the old enclosure, cleaned up the tile substrate, and installed a single frameless inline door with a fixed return panel in 3/8-inch clear glass with brushed nickel hardware and the hydrophobic coating. The owners wanted to keep the existing tile, so the templated header sits in a custom-bent U-channel anchored into studs behind the tile. Two-week turnaround.
Bypass slider in a Glen Road condo bath
Not every Woodcliff Lake project is an estate. A young family off Glen Road had a 60-inch tub-shower combo with no swing room. We installed a frameless bypass slider on a slim brushed-brass top track, in 3/8-inch low-iron glass to keep the small bath from feeling closed in. Quote-to-install ran sixteen days.

Most Woodcliff Lake homeowners don’t realize how dated their builder-grade bathroom mirror looks until they see it next to a single seamless piece of polished mirror. Custom mirrors are an underrated upgrade — usually less than ten percent of the cost of a shower-enclosure project, and they make the whole room read more finished. Recent examples:
Full-wall mirror in a home gym
A converted lower-level home gym in a Woodcliff Lake new-build needed a wall of mirror — 16 feet long, floor-to-ceiling, with a single seam landing behind a power column so the reflection reads as one continuous surface. We delivered three matched panels, polished-edge, anchored with J-channel and structural adhesive into the studs. The owner wanted no frame, no clips — the wall reads as glass.
Twin beveled vanity mirrors in a primary suite
The same estate-bath project that got the steam enclosure also needed two matching beveled vanity mirrors over the his-and-hers sinks, each 30 inches by 42 inches with a 1-inch polished bevel. The mirrors were hung between the sconces (rather than around them, which is the older convention), centered over each undermount basin with a 6-inch gap between the two for symmetry.
Other glass work
Beyond showers and mirrors, Woodcliff Lake keeps us busy with the full range — glass railings, painted-glass backsplashes, glass tabletops, and the occasional commercial storefront:
Frameless balcony railing with reservoir view
A west-facing balcony on a Woodcliff Lake home overlooking the reservoir needed a code-compliant guardrail that wouldn't break the sightline. We installed a frameless 1/2-inch tempered glass railing in slim base channel, with a brushed-stainless top rail. The system meets code for guardrail load while keeping the reservoir view completely unobstructed from the kitchen island behind it.
Why Woodcliff Lake chooses AGM
Estates here need glasswork that disappears rather than competes. New construction is typically specced to a level that demands heavy-glass enclosures, hand-templated railings, and white-glove install protocols (drop cloths, shoe covers, end-of-day clean). That’s how we work every day, but it’s especially important here. A few specifics that matter: our Midland Park showroom is about 14 minutes from your door, our crew templates and installs every job in-house (no subcontractor handoffs), and the written quote after the free in-home measure is the price — no fees added at install for site conditions we should have caught earlier.
