The homeowners wanted a steam-rated enclosure sealed to the 10-foot ceiling, with two full-height fixed panels flanking a 36-inch door, all in 1/2-inch low-iron glass. We hand-templated to land the hinges in blocking we’d specified during framing, fabricated over twelve days, and installed in a single morning. Header bar and 24-inch pull in matte black; upgraded continuous gasket system at every joint. Nineteen days from approved quote to keys-back.

Frameless inline replacement in a West Hill colonial

A 1970s center-hall colonial in the West Hill section had a builder framed slider whose door seal had finally given up. We pulled the old enclosure, cleaned up the tile substrate, and installed a single frameless inline door with a fixed return panel in 3/8-inch clear glass with brushed nickel hardware and the hydrophobic coating. The owners wanted to keep the existing tile, so the templated header sits in a custom-bent U-channel anchored into studs behind the tile. Two-week turnaround.

Bypass slider in a Glen Road condo bath

Not every Woodcliff Lake project is an estate. A young family off Glen Road had a 60-inch tub-shower combo with no swing room. We installed a frameless bypass slider on a slim brushed-brass top track, in 3/8-inch low-iron glass to keep the small bath from feeling closed in. Quote-to-install ran sixteen days.

We delivered three matched panels, polished-edge, anchored with J-channel and structural adhesive into the studs. The owner wanted no frame, no clips — the wall reads as glass.

Twin beveled vanity mirrors in a primary suite

The same estate-bath project that got the steam enclosure also needed two matching beveled vanity mirrors over the his-and-hers sinks, each 30 inches by 42 inches with a 1-inch polished bevel. The mirrors were hung between the sconces (rather than around them, which is the older convention), centered over each undermount basin with a 6-inch gap between the two for symmetry.

We installed a frameless 1/2-inch tempered glass railing in slim base channel, with a brushed-stainless top rail. The system meets code for guardrail load while keeping the reservoir view completely unobstructed from the kitchen island behind it.
